Goodness sakes. Time goes by too fast. Here it is holiday times and the new year approaches. Time for a bit of peace, time for a little time off, time for get together, time for music, time for winter projects, and time for reflecting and setting new goals.
It's also soon to be time for announcing Dulcimer Day in Duluth 2015. I hope to announce the event coming up in the next couple weeks - excellent teachers, wonderful performers, fun instruments.
The fest will have new guests and returning musician guests.
Tonight I went to the fitness center and spent some time in the hot tub. It felt good and now my soft fingers are ready to play more holiday music. I'm always thankful to share dulcimer music with others. Holiday music is quite special. This year I visited and shared music with the Superior Moose Club, Benedictine Health Center, Keystone Bluffs, and the Duluth Preservation Alliance. It's almost warm enough now to play outside! Rare. Rare indeed.
Thank you to all who have been new customers and returning customers at the Dulcimers In Duluth website. I recently learned that in Montreal Canada there is a Duluth neighborhood and streets. I'll have to visit there someday and, of course, I need to still make it to Duluth, Georgia. I appreciate customers from most states in the U.S. who have ordered. Arkansas, Georgia, North Carolina, Florida, Michigan, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Texas, and Utah to name a few of the states where I've wrapped packages to send. I also can have open store hours if you phone or email first that you'll be in the area. Believe it or not - but our living is our dulcimer store and we also have an infrared sauna and a new addition is a fish tank. Doesn't everyone have all 3 in their living room? My husband is very kind to let me do what I do. I love it.
