The greatest gifts

Music and musical instruments make great gifts. I wonder how many households in the U.S. have a member of the family playing holiday tunes at home during this holiday season. The mountain dulcimer is especially easy in that the books are written with numbers (tablature) for the frets. One can sit down with a tuned instrument and play songs. The Shelley Stevens 2 Christmas volumes (Baker's Dozen) are just $7.95 per book and very easy to follow. I also carry Helen Johnson's favorite Christmas Tunes book with a very nice selection of songs. Simply listening to holiday music being played or better yet being the player/music maker can give the spirit to an occasion. Holiday music on hammered dulcimers is great, too. Give a folk music instrument this season. Children or adults will love the gift to play year round. If you are in Northern MN area and want to stop in the store, just email or call.
