March Along

March is moving right along.  I can't keep up hardly with the way the dates fly by.  Dulcimer Day is coming - only one more month and a few days to go.  Thank you to those who have signed up.  About 85% are senior discounts, most participants are returning but 4 new are signing up. It's almost equal between WI and MN attendees so far with MN in the lead.   If you have someone in mind who might be interested in signing up and would like a brochure let me know.

Dulcimer Day always has dulcimers and more.  This year there will be more instrument vendors, and more learning on other instruments and topics - songwriting, making an herb pillow, and there is the open mic opportunity during dinner.   Remember there will be hand-made Dulcimer Day mugs for sale by local ceramics artist Sheila Staubus.  Some of you may know that I also organize local art & gift fairs.  Last weekend was Treasures of the Earth.  I create the opportunities for local artists to sell what they make at 6 fairs a year - and Dulcimer Day will also have some local artist vendors.  It's fun to see what new things are made here.  I'm working on making some fused glass items at a nearby glass shop - Shannon's Glassery in Superior.  You can access the list of the fairs at wendyupnorth.com/duluthfairs.  The next fair beyond Dulcimer Day is July 26- Woman-Made.
