Outdoor Live Music - folk music from the nordic countries

I really love live folk music and events that you can hear different players and instruments throughout the day.  In Nisswa, MN at Stamman with Scandinanvian Music is held in a pioneer park historical setting beside the Paul Bunyan Trail.  Some of the performers are from Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark and some are from throughout the U.S.  Arna Rennan is from Duluth.  She sings wonderfully and plays the Norwegian Langelek.  It's like a dulcimer but has more strings.  She also plays the accordian and Norwegian folk melodies are her specialty.  I'll play some of music this Sunday on KUMD on the Women's Music Program.  KUMD streams online at www.kumd.org and the Women's Music Program is 1 -5 p.m.  I'll be doing the later shift.  Listen in.
Ross Sutter was also at that festival. I heard he did bring a mountain dulcimer but missed that part of his set.  The fair has 5 different things going on at once - different stages, craft tent and a dance area.  I wanted to be in all the places.  I did circle around - sort of like doing a dance.  No, I didn't dance but it was fun to see the people do their twirls through polkas, schottisches, and other music rhythms. Another instrument that was seen and heard at the fest were nykleharpas  - the Swedish keyed fiddle.  I especially liked listening in at the jam at the Legion Hall in the room next to where the jam was.  Nothing beats live folk music.
I'd love to add Scandinavian tunes to play on the mountain and hammered dulcimer.
