Should beginners attend Dulcimer Day?

Yes. That's what the fair is about. There will be a beginner - no experience necessary - class for mountain dulcimer, hammered dulcimer, ukulele, and bodhran (Irish drum). There will be additional classes for the beginners to go to for Hammered dulcimer, mountain dulcimer and ukulele to continue learning those instruments. The other bonuses are to meet other players who have the same questions as you, to watch performers, and to have a good time with great music from these instruments. Don't let never touching one of these instruments stop you from learning. Everyone starts somewhere. There even are singing workshops - open to everyone. You can attend more advanced classes and pick up somethings but when a class is listed as advanced then it's for more experienced players. The AB classes 0 advanced beginner means that a person can play a few songs. Need help tuning? Just ask. Come to the Performer CD table in the morning. Hope to see you there.
